The Nokia Lumia 800 has a hidden diagnostics tool that provides tests for troubleshooting potential issues in the device. The tests are not necessarily complete and do not substitute authorized service repair, but I thought it’d be cool to show how to get access. Press ##634# at the dialer and the tool will open. It will also now appear in your app list. I don’t think this is available on other Windows Phone devices from other manufacturers like HTC or Samsung. Here are the following tests: Accelerometer ALS Audio Loopback Bluetooth Camera Battery Status DTMF Hardware Buttons Headset Detection LCD White Lights Magnetometer Power Source Proximity Speaker Touch Vibra
